    Travel from Zurich

    From Zürich HB, the direct IR46 to Locarno runs every 2 hours according to the SBB basic long-distance frequency. From Locarno railway station, take Bus 1 from platform C to Ascona Centro, then walk about 25 minutes uphill to Monte Verità. Please check the live timetable before departure.

    Travel from Milan

    The TILO RE80 connects Milano Centrale and Locarno at hourly intervals, and runs every 30 minutes between Chiasso and Locarno. From Locarno railway station, take Bus 1 from platform C to Ascona Centro, then walk about 25 minutes uphill to Monte Verità. Please check the live timetable before departure.

    By car

    Take the A13 motorway and exit at Ascona. Follow the signs toward Ascona town centre. After the roundabout, turn right and continue following the signs to Monte Verità. Free parking is available on site.

    There are several taxis available at the Locarno railway station. Average price and time: CHF 30.00, 15 minutes.

    A free 8-seater shuttle bus runs between Locarno railway station and Monte Verità during the following timeframes.
